Haarlem is an incredible day trip from Amsterdam! There wasn’t an alleyway or canal view we didn’t take in, giving us a complete understanding of why the locals take their time and enjoy the life that surrounds them everyday.

Oatman, AZ was one of the most valuable gold mines of the early 20th century and also one with some incredible history. We got to pet wild donkeys, see where Clark Gable and Carole Lombard honeymooned, and explore old buildings still in-tact.

Simply put - North Wales deserves its own two-week trip. If you haven’t visited there, you can’t truly understand just how stunning and peaceful this country is until you do. See Alice in Wonderland’s birthplace, walk through the mountains of Snowdonia, walk across the 126 ft.-high aqueduct for the most perfect sunset, and take a stroll through Conwy castle!

Belfast has had one heck of a dark and dangerous history, but what has emerged and continued to evolve, is extraordinary. While we were only there a couple of days, we got to take The Black Cab Tour and the Giant’s Causeway Tour - both of which were fascinating trips you will read more about in this post.

While we only stopped in Penrith for lunch, this charming little (extremely historic) town makes for a great weekend getaway! Check out all there is to experience there.
